🚲 How do I book a bike at l’Atelier Cyclo’Cool?

It’s simple: book directly online on our booking page, or drop by the shop in Saint-Pierre-d’Oléron. In July and August, we strongly recommend booking your bike rental in advance: demand is very high on the island!

🚚 Delivery

📅 How do I arrange a bike delivery on Oléron?

Contact us by email before finalising your booking on the website. Any booking made without a prior request is treated as a pick-up at the shop.

🕐 What are the delivery and pick-up times?

Deliveries and pick-ups take place before 9:30 am or between 6 pm and 8 pm. In July and August, delivery is suspended except for bookings made in advance.

🚚 If you deliver, do you also come to collect the bikes?

Yes, absolutely! A delivery automatically includes a pick-up at the same address at the end of the rental. You don’t have to go anywhere.

💶 From what amount is delivery free?

Delivery is free from €150 of rental anywhere on the Île d’Oléron. Below this amount, contact us to find out the conditions.

🤝 Why do you sometimes decline delivery?

Delivery is a real bonus that we’re happy to offer — but it requires careful organisation on our end. We’re a very small team, and every delivery is planned meticulously. If we can’t fulfil your request, it’s never for lack of goodwill, it’s simply because our capacity is limited. Thank you for your understanding! 🙏

🚴 Accessories & Equipment

🔒 Are locks provided with the rental bikes?

Yes! We have faith in humanity… but we’re not crazy either 😄 A lock is provided with every bike rented.

🧒 Do you offer children’s bikes and accessories?

Yes! We offer children’s bikes, tandems, fat bikes, as well as accessories: baby seats, trailers, helmets and panniers. Everything you need to set off as a family with peace of mind on the cycle paths of Oléron!

⚡ Classic bike or electric bike: how to choose?

The electric bike is ideal for long distances or less sporty riders — it helps you pedal effortlessly along the 160 km of cycle paths on the Île d’Oléron. The classic bike, on the other hand, is fresh air the old-fashioned way! Both are carefully maintained.

🛠️ What happens if I get a flat tyre on the road?

Don’t panic! Breakdown assistance is included in the rental price, from 10 am to 6 pm, every day of your stay. Our technicians come directly to you in the event of a breakdown or puncture, anywhere on the Île d’Oléron.

⚠️ In case of damage or theft

🏝️ Are there bike thefts on the Île d’Oléron?

Zero risk doesn’t exist, even on a quiet island like Oléron. That’s exactly why we provide locks with every bike. A good lock, properly used, considerably reduces the risks!

💥 What happens in the event of breakage or theft?

In the event of breakage, the customer pays for the cost of the damaged parts. In the event of theft, the deposit is charged to cover the costs. We therefore advise you to always lock up your bike, even for a short absence!
